Established in 1962, the Canadian boot maker SOREL thrusted into the market 10 years later with the Caribou, an ordinary pair of boots with an extraordinary claim of -40 degree. In fact, only a handful made the same claim since then. For both work and outdoor enthusiasts, the Caribou, with its handmade Nubuck upper, vulcanized rubber shell, 9mm removable ThermoPlus inner boot, is the ideal accessory to have. Not by choice, but by necessity. In preparation for the winter months ahead, colette will introduce a collection of 50 pairs SOREL Caribou Boots at its boutique. Designed specifically for trend-setting store, each "blue chocolate", so named for the 2 primary colors on the boots, features colette's signature blue along the label stitching and the lace. Now Parisians are as well protected as their Canadian counterparts. The Colette x SOREL Caribou Boots will launch in September. via: shoes-up
