In the past few years, Pharrell Williams' scope of work has expanded quite exponentially. First, he expanded his musical horizons, then ventured into the sartorial with BBC/Ice Cream, then he heads on into the green with Bionic, followed by art-- becoming both a subject and a creator, then, one of his most recent and strangest collaboration yet-- an interesting partnership with Dr. V.S. Ramachandran, a professor of neuroscience and psychology at the University of California, San Diego, who is also the director of the University's Center of Brain and Cognition. The duo sat down with Interview Magazine and chats with Dimitri Ehrlich about the concept of seeing sounds, the science behind it, and delves into the more scientific aspects of cognition, psychology, creativity and music. Don't worry, everything is still laid out for the layman, so check out the full interview at Interview, and see a different side of Pharrell. photography by: Craig McDean
