Sure, summer might be over soon, but for skaters who love the game, anytime is a great time to push. Thus, for November 2010 to January 2011, Element Skateboards is continuing its good work and releasing both new technology and new designs for skaters out there.
In terms of design, a new line-up of work with Bam Margera including a series created in conjunction with the new Jackass movie set to release later this year, and a more Americana styled line-up featuring stars and stripes will be hitting racks soon. The Jackass series is currently available for pre-order, and the word is the sales have been quite crazy, so if you are feeling these, you should not wait to get in on them. Aside from work with Margera, there are also collaborations with Chad Muska for the Street Art Series, and another Signature Series by Element advocate Michael Kershnar. And these are just a few to name.
On the tech side, the Highlight construction is a new lightweight deck built for superior performance and higher ollies, made possible with three rigid fiberglass beams which increase resilience and stiffness without adding weight.
And, on a more active side, a new fun creation from Element, Dropspot Skate Obstacles has proven to be a hit with the skaters at ASR. The Dropspot is a collection of foldable, portable, customizable benches and ramps that can be connected and pieced together in driveways and sorts so skaters don’t have to find a skate park to hone their tricks.
