NIGO stars in his own Winter 2010 Lookbook for BAPE, and takes us on a spin through the upcoming collection from BAPE juxtaposed aside some very coveted toys and art. The Winter 2010 season is quite heavily native and draws inspiration from Native American prints that are slightly reminiscent of Pendleton patterns. Chunky knits and hoodies now feature the brightly colored Native American blanket patterns the fashion world has snapped up, and as usual, BAPE wins with meticulous attention to details. Just play a little APE rendition of “Where’s Waldo?” in this collection and you will see what we mean. Outerwear remains a strong suit as well, as NIGO rolls out several classic outerwear shapes such as the M65, the sports jacket, the leather collared jacket and knitted zip-up hoodie. A relaxed collection perfect for the weekend or cozy-ing up home, check out the look book and also some sweet pieces such as KAWS’ Dissected Companion Be@rbrick!
