The fierce competition narrowed down to 6 regional champs, then, there was only 1. After four months and over 1 million votes, soft drink label Mountain Dew announced the winner of its Green Label Art: Shop Series in grand fashion with help from pro-skater Paul Rodriguez and skater/artist Don Pendleton. The presentation, which took place in Las Vegas, awarded Street Science Skate Shop the winning title. Co-owned by partners Justin Lomba and Jeremy Morgan, the Tracy, California storefront bested 34 competitors to claim the grand prize of $10,000. The winning design, featured Tracy Boulevard, the city's popular water tower along with a pit bull riding a skateboard, was created by teen artist Jonathan "Seb" Costa. Come next year, the same design will appear on Mountain Dew cans nationwide. In response to the award, Costa said ""This whole experience feels great. I was nervous this whole time, and winning this is like a dream come true. I've been drawing since I was two years old, and I think it's awesome that Mountain Dew is supporting artists and skateboarders like this."
