If Lebron James were president, people would be saying his approval ratings are way down. He's got Obama-sized expectations, but Miami is stuck at 9-8 going into tonight's game against Washington - and who gets the bulk of the blame? And it's not going to get any simpler later this week, when Lebron makes his first appearance in Cleveland - as as an opposing player. But while the on-court Dynasty might be hitting a rough patch, the Lebron James sneaker Dynasty seems to be developing quite well. Following the Lebron VII - one of the best new designs in recent basketball shoe history - the latest LJ signature model is getting a few color combos that seem to have classic written all over them. The last colorway of the LJ VIII we saw (the "pre-Heat") was a guaranteed riot-causer, and now we get the antidote with a classically-inspired Black/Grey colorway. This version of the LJVIII really lets the technical features shine through, making it clear that this is a basketball weapon. Lebron might be appreciating the Flywire stability in case of any further shoulder-checking between him and Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. Check out the detailed pics after the jump.
