We've seen two prior versions of the Air Force 1 clad in Nike's Foamposite, a silver version and an all black version. Now one of the most popular applications of Foamposite - the metallic purple eggplant color - is coming to a Kobe Bryant themed Air Force 1. The release is slated to include both a low top and a high; the low features a crocodile leather lace stay and heel tab, while the high top features a 3M Reflective ankle strap. Both versions feature Kobe's signature logo on the tongue, and visible through the translucent sole. Quite a beautiful shoe; also interesting as a counterpart to the rough-textured snakeskin of the Kobe VI on-court shoe. Rumored for a limited release in the Chinese market beginning February 1st, with further releases possible. Check out the full set of images after the jump.
