A bit hard to believe, but its been little over 10 years since a fateful (and very painful) bus-bike accident put Brendt Barbur to an idioventricular quest of some sort, the organization of the world's only bicycle theme film festival. The creative venture that came out of it, Bicycle Film Festival (BFF), now span across the globe in 25 cities with a penchant for changes at each place it visited, be it cycling rules or simple awareness of the underline bike culture.

From now till April 1st, BFF, like it had before countless times, is welcoming submission of films. There are no criteria in mediums, budgets, low brow, or high brow. The format can be anything from animation, documentary, even a simple music video. The one thing that the festival asks is that the entry be bike related. Submission process is quite straight forward as well, simply download the submission form on BFF's website and mail it along with a copy of the film to BFF office in New York. Painless, unlike what Barbur had to go through.
