The full Spring/Summer 2011 collection from Undefeated has just been released. Undefeated, a pillar of the streetwear world, has built an image strongly influenced by the devotion to sports shared by the founders of the retail location and label, James Bond and Eddie Cruz. The two are self-professed sports nerds, and the athletic influence is strong in this latest collection - in addition to the ubiquitous varsity jacket that is more or less a requirement this year, there are letterman cardigans, baseball-inspired raglan jerseys, sweatpants, and of course a range of graphic T-shirts with athletic imagery. It's also nearly impossible to ignore the Native American theme this season; Undefeated gives it a nod, but works it into the broader theme of athletic apparel, by limiting the references to the stylized Chief head images found on classic hockey jackets. The devoted denim community might do a double take at the button down shirts in the collection though: they feature a double stripe detail on the upper sleeve that closely mimics the design of a popular shirt made by Momotaro. Overall, a very solid collection from Undefeated; the wheel was not reinvented, and it's sure to be well-received by fans of the label's past work. Check out the full lookbook after the jump.
