Supreme x Adam Kimmel

Teflon, a customary term in describing tools of the trade in culinary field. It is also a fitting adjective for New York retailer Supreme. In the midst of the worst recession and while its contemporaries struggled to survive. It was business as usual for the Lafayette Street outfit. That uncanny ability to weather "the storm", be it economical or trend-wise, is quite apparent once again. Instead of fastidious styles and reserved designs, Supreme is venturing into new pursuit on its collaboration with designer Adam Kimmel. Similar to its partnership with Thom Browne a year ago, the Adam Kimmel project is something off Supreme's normal path of t-shirts, caps, hoodies, and skate decks. To include a set of slim down 2-button suits and pants, each unlined and crafted from the finest Italian cotton twill. The collection is not only a contrarian look at contemporary fashion. It is also a refractory notion on the whole concept of street wear. Available in Navy or Black, the Adam Kimmel for Supreme Collection will go on sale this Thursday, March 31st, at Supreme's New York and Los Angeles retail locations as well as its online store, follow by its Japanese outfits on Saturday, April 2nd.
