It was, as Complex Magazine Lifestyle Editor Bradley Carbone said “Internet coming to life…”. At one corner, the men from GILT MANual, editors Jared Flint and Josh Peskowitz. Not far from them, Jace Lipstein of Grungy Gentlemanfollowed by the newly minted Fashion Editor of GQ Magazine, Lance Lin. Spotted by the entrance, T Magazine‘s Bruce Pask and Jason Rider, while both Slam and Sole Collector sent their New York City contingents. Of course, where there are sneakers, there is our friend DJ Clark Kent. And these are just the first folks to arrived at the MPE Studios Penthouse overlooking Midtown New York. The occasion? To tried their hands on the new Custom US574 interface by New Balance. Though customization interface is nothing new, the New Balance US574 Custom is quite unique since each design will be made by 350 New Balance associates at its Norridgewock, Maine facility. Thus, truly earned the moniker “Made in the USA” on each US574 label. As for the rest of us, the special custom site will be available to the general public starting tomorrow at www.shopnewbalance.com.
