Filtering down to the last few, fellow sneaker aficionados, arts and craft enthusiasts, and supporters will now have the opportunity to cast their votes on VANS Custom Culture Contest. A design competition in support of high school art and creativity across the U.S., the contest will provides a $50,000 award to the winning school's art program. Plus, the winning design will receive a crash course in the footwear market and be for production by VANS in 2012. For the first time since the competition started, the public will have a say in selecting the final 5 high schools. The 5 will then travel to New York for the final round judged by tattooist Mr. Cartoon, stylist Nicole Young, pro-skater Tony Alva, and musician Jordan Buckley. Think your school has what it takes?
