During the Thrash Metal genre heydays of the 1980s, the band Slayer stood out from its counterparts like Megadeth and Anthrax. Mostly because its unlikely partnership with Rick Rubin and as Def Jam Records' first and only metal gig. But the odd coupling paid off with Slayer's 1986 "Reign In Blood", one of the most profound album for its genre. For all of its influences on talents to come later, Dom Deluca of Brooklyn Projects decidedly to paid tribute to what some called "the best metal live act ever", with the Nike SB Dunk High "Reign In Blood" Edition. A suede dripped in brownish-red hue as with the appearance of dry blood, tipped with a hint of worsted denim and premium leather, all throw back in part to the album cover art of "Reign In Blood".  No official words on the actual release date with exception of some time this month and an availability of 666 pairs only.  via: ShoeWolf
