Established by K.K. Tsunemi in 1947, EDWIN mainly imported its denim from the U.S. to Japan till 1961. That year, the label added a subscribe "Made In Japan" below its label. To commemorate the 50th anniversary when EDWIN begin to produce at its very own factory in Japan, the denim label will launch several special items over the course of this year. The EDWIN 50th Anniversary Denim Golf Bag is such item. Dyed in natural indigo, the raw denim is then sewn together and reinforced with leather piping. Branding in both English and Japanese Kanji characters, a set of customize options are available as well for clients to add their names. All done in fine red threads, reminiscent of EDWIN's signature on its denim. As with its 50th anniversary celebration, only 50 of these special golf bag will be available at a cost of JP¥ 120,000 or US$ 1,488 each. Only exclusively at EDWIN Japanese online store.
