This might not be his first foray into watch making. But according to Osamu Koyama, founder and creative director of Complete Technique, it may will be the most complex timepiece project to date. Commissioned by Diageo, the beverage giant which owns Crown Royal, the custom pocket watch is part of an initiative for Crown Royal Black, a new variant of the blended Canadian whiskey. Crafted with inspirations from various royal family crest, honorary medallions, and military medals, the casing was first cast then machined. Followed by embellishments such as a black enamel finish studded with black crystals and diamond indexes. See the process from start to finish after the jump.
