Kitsuné - Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

There's a scene in The Great Gatsby where Daisy Buchanan, overwhelmed by the sight of dozens of Jay Gatsby's brightly colored shirts in jumbled disarray, undergoes a paroxysm of sorrow at the sheer lavishness on display. One wonders if Daisy would suffer an emotional response in seeing the offerings from Kitsuné's spring/summer 2012 collection, which draws inspiration from the Jazz Age style chronicled in Gatsby. The French label has put together a collection informed with a classic American aesthetic: cardigans, oxfords and striped polos, in creams and assorted pastels. Soft cottons and linens are the dominant fabrications, perfect for those warm summer evenings on the North Shore of Long Island.
