ISAORA, the New York-based technical performance sportswear brand, has tapped Japan's Porter to create the Canoe Pack. Inspired by the Poirer Pack, the bag rumored to be the basis for the modern backpack, the Canoe Pack is crafted with heavyweight canvas and retains the flat square shape of the original wilderness bag (a structure meant to ensure the contents would stay secure and dry during canoe travel). Additional features include an internal iPad pouch, two side cargo pockets, internal restraining clip and black felt padding at the back and along the shoulder straps. The embroidered ISA-Flake logo in red denotes the brand's support for Japan, with the brand donating $200 to the Japanese Red Cross for every bag sold. The Porter x ISAORA Canoe Pack is available now directly through ISAORA. Click through for more looks.
