Art & Sole, the online destination where art and sneaker culture merge, presents Ben Drury's "The City," the third installment in its series of limited edition screenprints. Designed to evoke a stylized futuristic cityscape, the intricately lined piece was created using a special screenprinting technique requiring four layers of ink printed onto a sheet of plastic paper. London-based designer Drury, who got his start working as co-art director alongside Will Bankhead for James Lavelle's Mo' Wax record label, is probably best known among sneaker enthusiasts for his contribution to Nike's "Air You Breathe" pack -- the Air Max 1 "Hold Tight." Drury, a self-confessed sneaker obsessive, developed his print for Art & Sole as the result of sneaker design, the artwork evolving from doodles he'd drawn in a sketchbook of shapes and forms found in sneakers. The special edition print is available for purchase now directly through Art & Sole.
