The scene in Spike Lee's Do the Right Thing, in which an unassuming passerby in a Boston Celtics Larry Bird T-shirt accidentally knocks into Buggin' Out, scuffing his brand new Jordan IVs and consequently causing him to, well, bug out, perfectly encapsulates how many of us feel about the White/Cement Air Jordan IV: we're willing to go to war over them. It's partly because of the mystique, partly because they haven't been retroed since 1999, but mostly because they're simply a fantastic looking pair of kicks. And while there will always be the kind of staunch traditionalist who grumbles about the absence of Nike Air on the heel or the darker shade of grey or even the overall shape, these new images reveal a shoe that will have many of us thinking 2102 can't get here fast enough. via: Kickz-Lab
