Nike Hachi Supreme Black Nubuck

The Nike Hachi debuted last year as a Nike Sportswear chukka-inspired sneaker, with design notes -- like the one-piece toe box and molded eyelets -- lifted from the Nike Sting running shoe from 1976. Its name is even reminiscent of the vintage runner, as "Hachi" is derived from the Japanese word for bee, which likely explains the honeycomb texture on the toe bumper. The upcoming all-black Hachi Supreme does away with those vintage-inspired details, however, featuring an all-leather construction that extends to the laces, tongue, midsole and lining. A quaint throwback appeal is discarded in favor of premium materials and a sleekly modern aesthetic. Click through for more looks. via: Sneaker Freaker
