The Aston Martin team working on the 2012 Edition of its popular V8 Vantage can happily tout over 40 unique upgrades at this year's Geneva Motor Show, including fresh new style accents, more power, and a host of additional interior bells and whistles. While the engine is still the same base 4.7 liter V8, Aston Martin has bumped up its peak output to the 430 horsepower and 361 pounds-feet of torque range and now offer a seven-speed Sportshift II sequential transmission option. Additional enhancements over the 2011 model center on the Vantage's chassis, which include bigger brakes, wider tires, and a new steering column. There is also a new braking system that includes Hill Start Assist integrated into the beefed-up rotors. To visually distinguish the 2012 from its predecessors, the front intake grille has been enlarged, carbon fiber detailing was added, and an aerodynamic front splitter and upgraded rear air diffuser have been installed. The 2012 V8 Vantage - in both its coupe and Roadster models - will be available to order following the Geneva Motor show scheduled for later in March, but if you can't seem to get your all scratch together in time, you can still check out more looks after the jump. via: Autoblog
