An artist of the literal and the figurative, Michael Leavitt covered much of today's noteworthy events with his Art Army figurines, a parody of popular culture. Now, joining that vinyl masses, which mostly sold out during Leavitt's solo exhibition at Jonathan LeVine Gallery last year, is the New York Knicks star point guard Jeremy Lin. Inspired by Lin's explosive play style and his legion of Linsanity fans, Leavitt came away with the "Linja", an real-life rendition of G.I. Joe's ninja soldier Storm Shadow. Armed with interchangeable backpack, a basketball nunchucks-mace, other details like "Light of Taiwan" marking plus "Lin"and the number "17" in Chinese characters, this is one formidable opponent. The one of one figure is now available at Jailbreak Collective.
