We previously showcased the 2013 MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, which has a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine generating 215 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. They're by no means shabby numbers, but we're not sure they're good enough to enable flight, like this new commercial seems to suggest. The clip depicts the JCW Countryman hurtling through a desert landscape with a man in a wingsuit perched atop the roof. He lets go, and we see that a guide rope tethers him to the vehicle even as he becomes airborne. The MINI, meanwhile, is rapidly approaching the edge of a cliff.
