Seattle-based Maiden Noir presents the lookbook for its Spring 2012 collection, "St. Helen/The First Seven." The title is a nod to the first seven days of the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helen's in Washington State, with the collection inspired by three individual characters: Blackburn, the professor who predicted the eruption; Turner, the outcast veteran who called the mountain home; and Ashland, the naturalist who devoted his life to the mountain. The collection contains Maiden Noir staples like graphic tees and Japanese selvedge denim, as well as high-quality cut and sewn pieces highlighted by the Japanese Shirt Jacket in tiger camo, Ashland long-sleeve shirt in white Japanese broadcloth with flower pattern pocket, and field parka crafted from reverse cotton twill in olive green. Find the collection now at Maiden Noir retailers and online.
