Aston Martin One-77 - Aftermath of a Spectacular Crash in Hong Kong

It is statically well known, at least in the U.S., that there are more car accidents over Memorial Day weekend than any other holidays through out the year. That fact, however, might not be applicable only to the U.S. now. Over the long weekend, images of this heartbreaking sight begin to circulate around China's Weibo microblog - a Aston Martin One-77 finds itself broken and battered. One of only 77 units (or 76 now) in the world, the vehicle belongs to someone in the Shenzhen City of China though the accident occurred in Hong Kong when it purportedly hit the curb at high speed. There were no other vehicles involved and no serious injuries reported, the shattered carbon fibre monocoque chassis was on its way to a local mechanic shop when these images were taken. It is most likely the car will be heading back to the Aston Martin's "clean room" in England for repairs soon though with a $1.7 million price tag to begin with, the fix of this Aston Martin won't be cheap. via: WCF
