CONVERSE's Pro Leather World Basketball Festival Collection continues its tour around the States with its latest stop at UBIQ's Philadelphia shop this past Friday, August 3. In addition to converting the shop to showcase the new Pro Leather collection, guests enjoyed live music performances from hip-hip artist Stalley and DJ Young Guru and a retrospective of the Converse Pro Leather and its influence on our culture since 1976. Asher Roth, Chill Moody, Young Savage and boxer Henry Lundy all made special appearances, but the clear highlight of the evening was a visit by NBA legend Julius "Dr. J" Erving, who is no stranger to rocking crowds in Philly or the CONVERSE hi-top. With the Fall 2012 collection of the Pro Leather, CONVERSE hopes to continue the silhouette's reign as a cultural icon and streetwear staple, something few will contest. View additional shots of the event after the jump and head to your favorite CONVERSE retailer to cop a pair of the new Pro Leather.
