Leica's short film "Bruce Davidson: A Lifetime with Leica" presents a conversation with one of the most influential and best known-photographers in the modern era. A member of the Magnum Photos agency since 1958, Davidson's work bore witness to New York street gangs in the late '50s, the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s and the urban decay of the New York City subway system in the 1970s. Throughout his career, Davidson has used Leica cameras, citing their mobility and excellent optics.
