The word "Bohemia" immediately conjures a certain state of mind, rather than a geographic location. But as prosaic as it sounds, Bohemia is simply a region in the Czech Republic bordered by Germany and Poland to the north and Austria to the south. Its storied past and breathtaking landscape made it the perfect starting point for the first Rapha Continental Europe story, constituting a lengthy foray into "Hidden Europe." Rapha commissioned Ertzui Film and directors Kristian Ansand and Martin Gilluck to document the ride, which began in Konigstein, Germany, and wended through deserted roads, green meadows and punishing switchbacks, ultimately ending in the Jested mountain peak in the Czech Republic.
