Professional freeskier and alpine ski racer Jon Olsson may hold the record for the most third place finishes in any ski-related sport, but his eye for aftermarket cars is one of the best in the business. Almost a year after we took a look at his personal Lamborghini ski transporter, the Swede gives us a look at his latest creation, which he calls the most extreme Audi R8 in the world. Tuned by PPI to deliver a heart-pounding 600-hp with its V10 engine, this Audi R8's shell is equally powerful thanks to 10 layers of clear coat over the paint and full carbon fiber body to protect it from the harshest of conditions. To help navigate the slippery slopes, Olsson also had its base widened and its overall weight dropped to approximately 1,320 lbs, giving him complete control as he sits warmly in its suede-covered cabin. That weight, of course, doesn't include the custom ski box on top of the car, which is equipped with LED lighting and an independently-powered ski-boot warmer. Couldn't think of a better way to melt the chill of winter.
