Nike Soccer Introduces All Conditions Control Technology

Every soccer club relies on their play-makers to turn a defensive turnover into an attacking opportunity by taking their space, feeding the ball through to an on-running striker, or even taking a shot of their own; in other words, they're called on to make something out of nothing. In turn, players in this role need to be on their game every minute of the game, which is hard to do when the weather becomes a factor. That's where Nike Soccer's latest line-up of cleats with All Conditions Control (ACC) comes in: based on feedback from the likes of Andrés Iniesta, Nike has created a boot with a surface that ensures players feel a consistent friction between their foot and the ball in rain or shine. Think of it as Rain-X for your cleats combined with a redesigned TPU plate for extra traction. The ACC technology will be available on all Nike style soccer boots - the Mercurial Vapor VIII, Tiempo Legend IV, CTR360 Maestri III and the Total 90 Laser IV when they're introduced in October 2012.
