Sunday, October 14 was designated as the Car Free Day in Milan, and the annual Red Hook Criterium race took place in broad daylight. The race expanded from its native territory in Brooklyn, and this is the third installment of the event in Italy. One hundred elite cyclists from 14 nations flew in to participate in the high-energy competition. Racers battled it out over 30.8km in the street course, where the circuit course is made up of 22 laps around a square configuration. Tight corners tested the skills of riders, and Evan Murphy came up with the win, followed by Eduard Grosu, Chas Christiansen, Francesco Martucci, and Walton Brush.
