Somewhat sparse when you compare it to the bustling preview events during New York Fashion Week in the past, Levi's Preview Event in London last week nevertheless served the purpose. In fact, art gallery-like installations by D-CD (Denton-Cardew Design) helped attendees from press, media, and other important outlets to know Levi's various initiatives a little better. With a handful of 2-liter plastic soda bottle, it demonstrated the ecological effects of the new Waste<Less Denim Collection. Another display had visitors going back to the origin of Levi's with a mock-up of a gold miner's bedroom. In between, Levi's highlighted the evolution of its staple, the 501 jean, in addition to this season's hugely popular colored denim series and the retro-centric Levi's Vintage Clothing line.
