With his win last evening, President Barack Obama once again made American history on several fronts. Not only was he the first African American to assume the office, but the first African American president to be re-elected for a second term. The President broke records on the social media front as well. As network news declared him to be the winner, his simple tweet of "Four more year." with an image of him embracing the First Lady became the most retweeted message in Twitter's history. Nearly 24 hours later, it's been retweeted 755,000+ times and counting. The same message and photo also made the claim of "most likes" on Facebook, with that number at around 3,771,000 so far. That's likely to increase too as more people around the world send in their congratulatory notes.
