Ten years after it first rolled off of the production line at their Goodwood assembly plant, the Rolls-Royce's Phantom has come quite along way. Beginning with only 400 employees and only one car built per day back in 2003, today RR now employs over 1,400 people who produce over 20 of these beauties a day, demonstrating that an unrelenting desire for fine craftsmanship and attention to detail can win over the hearts and minds of drivers all over the world. Although it initially received mixed reactions based on its boxy, over-the-top features, the Phantom quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the car of choice for celebs and royals alike, now serving as one of the English brand's flagship models. This story of excellence, of course, stems from the appreciation that RR shows their employees, who benefit from a strong apprenticeship and internship program, which allows the brand to boast one of the lowest staff turnover rates in the business. Here's to the next ten years.
