Billed as the brand's first ever "interpersonal PC," the Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC is a desktop Windows 8 all-in-one, as well as a multi-user slate when it's used in table-top mode. The 27-inch 1080p display has touch-screen capability, featuring an Aura interface that automatically replaces the Windows 8 interface when the device is placed in a horizontal position. Aura is an intuitive software control wheel used to launch a variety of touch-supported applications, including multi-player games like Monopoly and even air hockey (joysticks and e-dice come packaged with the device). The 17-pound design isn't exactly portable, but it's meant to be used throughout the house, offering a shared computing experience for the entire family. The IdeaCenter Horizon can be equipped with up to a third-gen Intel i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 620M graphics card, 8 gigabytes of memory and up to 1 terabyte of hard-drive storage. Pricing begins at $1,699, with a launch date set for early summer.
