Thom Browne revealed his new men's collection this past Sunday in Paris, full of plenty of boxy Ab Lincoln stovetop caps, high-water pants, and shoulder pads. Continuing down the design path that has given him a reputation for unique and striking new twists on fashion for both men and women, this time Browne gives a heavy emphasis toward pieces using gray, black, and white tones. The collection also included ample touches of fur, plaids, and plenty of patterns and textures seen in almost every combination. Although many (okay, pretty much all) of the pieces seen on the catwalk might have trouble making their way to the shelves, it shouldn't go without saying that First Lady Michelle Obama decided to wear one of Browne's coats at President Obama's inauguration ceremony held earlier today. Perhaps we'll be seeing more of Browne than we originally thought.
