Co-founded by fragment design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara and SOPHNET.’s Hirofumi Kiyonaga, uniform experiment has garnered quite the following since its inception in 2008, building collections that turn the preconceived notions of menswear and business wear on their ear. It’s readily apparent in the brand’s Spring/Summer 2013 range, which we previously saw in a feature video. The looks showcase tailored suiting in which jackets are matched with shorts of a varying shade of grey, as well as mid-shin color-blocked socks contributing to the schoolboy aesthetic. Metal studs adorning woven shirts and black leather shoes, meanwhile, provide a fashion-forward contrast to traditional pieces like a slouchy cardigan and cargo pants. See more in the gallery below.
