As part of their Every Third Thursday web series, the guys at Signal Snowboards have come up with some creative snowboard concepts in the past, including one made of glass and another embedded with a working iPad. For their latest project, the Signal crew teamed up with GROWit to create the world's first 3D printed snowboard. The size limitations of the Connex500 printer meant the board had to be printed in parts that fit like puzzle pieces, and reinforced with metal strips for rigidity. Following the board's completion, the guys put it through its paces in pristine Colorado powder. Check it out in the video below.
