Nothing could be less interesting than two men signing business agreements, unless they go by the names of Mark McNairy and Ronnie Fieg. In the last five years, both New York-base designers have perfected the art of multi-tasking, not an easy task especially during the height of the economic downturn. Fieg, best known for his ongoing collaborations with ASICS, designed for American classic Sebago, Japanese trendsetting label CAMINANDO, and went on to open his KITH retail chain. Then there is McNairy, clearly a savant of some sort, he helped to create the Bee Line for Pharrell's Billionaire Boys Club, finished up a footwear project with Norse Projects, made an impressionable presentation for his New Amsterdam label during New York Fashion Week, Woolrich Woolen Mills during Pitti Uomo yet somehow found the time to set the stage for his new collaboration with adidas Originals. While both men would not disclose any details at this time, Fieg added "This collaboration with Mark will change the game, the main reason we got together in the first place." Stay tuned for more details to come later this year.
