Established in 1976 by Raymond Weil, the watchmaker that bears his name is also one of the last remaining independent labels today. And because of this independence, it has a penchant of bucking the trend and challenging the status quo. While other premium watch brands lavishly sponsor sporting events, luxury automakers, and other fanciful toys, executives at Raymond Weil decided to support relatable creative types and the arts, such as Songwriter Music Series, VH1 Save The Music Foundation, and the Brit Awards. In following that long held yet unconventional thinking, the brand created new "Precision Is My Inspiration" video as part of its 2013 marketing campaign. Featuring Mozart's Piano Concertos by the Prague Chamber Orchestra as its backdrop, the video is four separate chapters with each highlighting the creative process of Raymond Weil's newest timepiece, the Maestro Phase de Lune Semainier.
