French artist Antonin Fourneau has brought his Water Light Graffiti installation to New York this week. Its name perfectly distills what you can expect from the piece, in which thousands of LEDs become illuminated when exposed to water. Visitors can use any number of implements -- ranging from a paint brush to a Super Soaker, or even just wet fingertips -- to sketch an image or message on the wall, one that eventually fades to black after a few minutes. Water Light Graffiti debuted in Paris a few months ago, and has now hit the road under the auspices of the French arts foundation DigitalArti. It's currently on display at the Grohe showroom for New York Design Week until Friday, when it returns to France.
