Feast your eyes on the first official images of the deliciously new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, a convertible version of the brand's powerful V12 GT Car. While it may look just as sleek and curvy as their other models, this is actually the first time that an AM car has been built with a body made entirely out of carbon fiber, which not only saves weight, but also helps to make it the stiffest shell in their 100-year history. Under the hood, the Vanquish is powered by the same 565-hp AM11 6.0-liter V12 engine as its coupe kin and is capable of hitting 62mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 183mph. Inside the cabin, passengers will find an engine start button next to glass gear selection buttons for the automatic gearbox as well as a new infotainment system. There's room for four inside the plush blue cabin and a full-size windshield to help protect your party. If you want one parked in your driveway, prepare to shell out at least $297,995 with deliveries beginning early next year. Check out the full preview video out by AM after the click and enjoy the rest of the shots; at least they're free.
