Toyota has partnered with Nickelodeon to rework the Toyota Highlander 2014, upending the vehicle's name with an undersea design motif inspired by everyone's favorite aquatic cartoon, SpongeBob SquarePants. The character's wacky gap-toothed likeness is plastered all over the Highlander's exterior, while inside the cabin, leather seats are draped in SpongeBob yellow and the ceiling finished in a fetching ocean blue. The one-of-a-kind concept vehicle was unveiled last Saturday during SpongeBob Day at San Diego's PETCO Park (an event possibly overshadowed by the no-no tossed by San Francisco Giant Tim Lincecum against the Padres). The vehicle will spread its good luck at seven more locations during a cross-country road trip to promote Toyota's "Happy Driving!" campaign.
