Cadillac has a new car concept called the Elmiraj that is so damn sexy it hurts. When it debuted last week in Monterey, California, it boasted four seats, a length of 207 inches, a width of 76 inches and a height of 55 inches. It easily channels the essence of the current two-door CTS but with more attitude.
Cadillac has imbued the Elmiraj coupe with a brazen amount of finesse for the most part with a short front overhang, long hood, contoured roofline and petite rear deck. The intense sleekness of the sides and the exaggerated look of the 22-inch wheels are characteristic of Cadillac's distinct design aesthetic, imbuing the model with power and grace at the same time.
Steadfast elements of the car include Cadillac’s signature vertical LED lights in the front and rear, but what you can't see at first glance is more wickedly enticing. Take, for example, the all-new, twin turbocharged 4.5 liter V8 under the hood, which is estimated to produce 500 horsepower and 500 pound feet of torque. Even the interior hits a new level of indulgence with a backlit titanium trim that contrasts the caramel-colored leather upholstery. Finished with fallen Brazilian Rosewood accents, the interior is rich all the way through.
