One of Tinker Hatfield's finest, the Nike Air Trainer 1, is back in the Swoosh's most iconic color schemes: the Infrared. The cross-trainer that redefined the concept and design of cross-training from the day it was first released back in 1987, the Nike Air Trainer 1 puts on a classic look in a traditional combination of premium leather and nubuck, utilizing a soft grey and black throughout the upper. Infrared takes care of the Nike branding, eyelets, and outsole, including the toe bumper out-front. A keen eye will also notice the rare use of a mesh toe box, perhaps as a nod toward the Nike Air Max 90 that first made the use of Infrared infamous.
