A storefront that is 30 years in the making, retail chain NOHBLE will open the doors to its Newark flagship store this Saturday, October 26th. With nearly 10,000-square-foot in space, owners of NOHBLE fashioned the store’s interior into a turn-of-the-century train station, in homage to Newark’s history as major transport hub for New Jersey. As a way to commemorate the store’s grand opening, hip-hop artist and Vampire Life’s owner, Jim Jones, will be stopping by for a meet-and-greet session. Several special guests will be making an appearance as well, including HOT 97 DJs Drewski, Wallah, Naim, Frosty, Shy, and Martian. Finally, NOHBLE will also mark the occasion with the restock of three much sought after kicks – Nike LeBron X EXT “Denim”, Nike LeBron X EXT “Black Suede”, and the Jordan 5 “3LAB5” in “Elephant Print/Gamma Blue”. No RSVP or special invite needed, all are welcome to participate this Saturday as the event kicks at Noon. You will find NOHBLE Newark at what used to be a Dr. Jay’s, on the corner of Market and Broad, at 795 Broad Street, just a block from the Prudential Center.
