To address the ever changing landscape of consumer demographic, superbike maker MV AGUSTA unveiled the new Turismo Veloce 800 last week during the all-important EICMA Milan Motorcycle Show. Literally means "Fast Tourer" in Italian, the Turismo Veloce 800 will be the first of such chassis for MV AGUSTA. Powered by a in-line Three-Cylinder, Four-Stroke, 12-Valve engine with a displacement of 798cc (rounded of to 800), which is capable of producing 125 horsepower. With a top speed of 240 km/h (or 149 mph), it is more powerful than the majority of compact sedans on the market today. Made from a composite of steel tubing and aluminum alloy, the frame is rigid enough for a straightaway yet with just enough flex to hug the road on a mountain pass. Best of all, unlike the F4 superbike and Brutale "naked bike", the Turismo Veloce features a tuned suspension for long rides. To be part of the 2014 model year, the MV AGUSTA Turismo Veloce 800 will be available in showrooms sometime next year.
