Take note, sneakerheads, because a shoe of this nature doesn't come around that often. As many can recall, new colorways of the already-rare Waffle Racer are more than few and far between. Not only does this mean that there is a fair amount of hype around each pair, but that Nike feels the timing is right for a shoe with truly impressive fashion and lightweight proportions. What makes these two takes on the throwback sneakers even more special is that they are built with the help of Japan's Loopwheeler, who is no stranger to the Swoosh, working with them not too long ago on a set of Fall/Winter Crew Sweatshirts. Using the apparel brand's almost lost technique, the Waffle Racer is given a genuinely antique feel, offered up in either an all-over grey suede and cotton or a Navy/Grey for more of a classic look. Both are fitted with a plush cotton liner, branded insole, and a set of white cotton laces. Mark your calendars for their December 7th release, with sales expected through Loopwheeler's online shop.
