Compared with other high-end watchmakers on the market, Rebellion is a relative newcomer to the game of Horology. Established just a few years back in 2008 in the postcard-ready town of Lonay, Switzerland, the company's mission is to create a range of timepieces that are equally innovative and futuristic. And, judging by their 540 Magnum Tourbillion Watch, they are well versed in the art. Unfortunately, due to the fact that they are a small, independent brand, numbers are extremely limited making each piece highly exclusive. The watch is created with precision lasers with extreme technical dexterity and is crafted from high performance carbon fiber, which means the watch is lightweight and durable. Visually, the 540's skeletonized face reveals the complex mechanics inside, which join open hour and minute hands and the exposed, chain-driven power reserve indicator. Overall, the attention to detail and the industrial design is impeccable, but it also has a phenomenal power reserve of 14 days and is water resistant to 30 meters. The 540 Magnum Tourbillon is limited to only 10 pieces and has a natural rubber strap with titanium double folding buckle. Prices are equally impressive, at: CHF 270,000 (approximately $296,811).
