Developed by Creative Assembly and published under the auspices of video game giant SEGA, Alien: Isolation is the upcoming first-person survival horror game that functions as a sequel to Ridley Scott's classic 1979 sci-fi horror film, Alien. The game is set 15 years after the Nostromo's doomed voyage and centers around Ripley's daughter, Amanda, who is now a Weyland-Yutani employee. The flight recorder of the Nostromo has been recovered at the remote trading station Sevastopol, and Amanda must investigate. The game's pervasive sense of dread is inspired by the film, which entailed securing the rights to the original score, as well as three terabytes of images from the films, never before seen by the public.
